In this follow-up, we dive into a mass-crafting session using the new league mechanic to see just how profitable it can be. We’re targeting Medium Cluster Jewels with the Exerted Attacks enchant, specifically looking for the powerful combination of Lead by Example and Warning Call.
Quantity: 30 Cluster Jewel bases.
Item Level: 75–83 (to hit the necessary passive tiers).
Initial Investment: Approximately 750 Chaos Orbs (including bases, Alterations, Regals, and the league currency).
Goal: Use the "preview" mechanic to hit high-value passive pairs without wasting expensive currency.
Rolling the Base: Use Alteration Orbs to hit the first core passive, Mob Mentality. This is our starting point for almost every jewel.
League Preview (The Key): Take the magic jewel to the league crafting bench and use a Regal Orb.The mechanic shows three potential outcomes.Pro Tip: If you don't see a top-tier passive, prioritize picking a Suffix. This leaves a Prefix open, allowing you to use an Exalted Orb later for a high chance to slam Lead by Example or Warning Call.
The "Exalt Slam": If the Regal didn't hit the dream combo but left a prefix open, an Exalted Orb is a relatively cheap way to get another roll at the best passives.
The results of this 30-jewel session were impressive:
Total Revenue: Over 3,000 Chaos Orbs.
Total Cost: ~750 Chaos Orbs.
Net Profit: 2,250+ Chaos Orbs (roughly a 3x return on investment).
Time Spent: Most jewels sold within 2-3 hours of being listed.
The ability to "see the future" with the Regal Orb preview drastically changes the math for cluster crafting. Even if you miss the initial roll, strategic use of suffixes and prefixes ensures that almost every base has a high probability of becoming a multi-divine item.
As seen in the video, even with a few pricing mistakes (selling a Warning Call jewel too cheap!), the sheer volume and safety of this method make it one of the most consistent ways to build wealth in early 3.29.
