In the Path of Exile community, many believe that as soon as a profitable strategy is made public, it immediately becomes useless. JJ546 decided to test this theory by repeating his Chaos Cluster crafting strategy just 1.5 days after publishing the original guide.
The goal was simple: take the same 30 bases and the same crafting method to see if the profit would drop significantly now that the "secret" was out.
The Base: 30 Medium Cluster Jewels (Chaos Damage over Time), 4-5 Passives, iLvl 75-83.
The Investment: Total expenses for bases and currency (Alterations, Augments, Regals, Exalts, Scours) amounted to 2600 Chaos.
The Crafting Cost: It now costs roughly 70 Chaos to craft one jewel using the Alt-Regal-Exalt method.
Despite the prices of common combinations falling due to increased supply, the strategy remained incredibly profitable.
Rare Hits: High-end combinations (like the one with a 14% chance to hit) still hold their value. JJ546 managed to hit several top-tier jewels, with some selling for as much as 7 Divines.
Sales Velocity: While the jewels sold a bit slower than the first time (partly due to a more conservative pricing strategy), all 30 units were successfully liquidated.

Publicity ≠ Death: Even with more players crafting, the high demand for Chaos DoT builds kept the market healthy.
